1) Information We Collect
We collect information in three main ways: (a) information you provide, (b) information collected automatically, and (c) information collected with your permission (such as location).
- Account information: name (optional), username, email address.
- User content: yarn library photos and details (e.g., batch/lot number, needle size, material), swatch photos and density measurements, project notes, voice notes/voice logs, and any other content you choose to enter.
- Customer support: messages and information you send us when requesting help.
- Automatic data: device information, usage analytics, performance metrics, and crash logs.
- Location (with permission): precise and/or approximate location depending on the permission you grant.
- Cookies and similar technologies: used for login sessions and preferences in web components (may include web beacons).
Photos are not used for face recognition or biometric identification. We do not use your photos for training, advertising, or marketing.
2) How We Use Information
- Provide and maintain the Service.
- Personalization and feature functionality.
- Improve performance, reliability, and user experience.
- Safety and security including fraud/abuse prevention.
- Customer support and troubleshooting.
- Legal compliance and enforcement of terms and policies.
3) AI-Assisted Features and Processing
Some features may involve AI-assisted processing, such as automatic color pairing suggestions, assistance derived from swatch photos, or generating suggestions from text you provide.
- Your control: AI-assisted features that require uploading content are optional. You decide whether to upload any photo, audio, or text.
- Where processing happens: if you upload content for AI-assisted processing, it is sent to our own servers for one-time processing.
- No third-party sharing: we do not share your uploaded content with any third party for processing or any other purpose.
- Immediate deletion: after the result is returned to you, the uploaded content is deleted immediately from our servers.
- No training/marketing: we do not use your uploads to train models or for advertising.
AI outputs may be inaccurate or incomplete. You are responsible for how you use any output.
4) How We Share Information
We disclose information only as necessary and in the following circumstances:
- With your consent when you ask us to do so.
- Service providers who process data on our behalf (minimum necessary; contractual safeguards).
- Legal requirements and lawful requests.
- Protection of rights and safety to prevent fraud or security issues.
- Business transfers (merger, acquisition, or asset sale) with appropriate safeguards.
We do not sell personal information.
5) International Transfers
Your information may be processed in countries other than your own. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers, such as Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) or equivalent mechanisms.
6) Security
- Encryption in transit and at rest where appropriate.
- Access control and least-privilege practices.
- Regular reviews/audits and monitoring.
- Backups for reliability and recovery.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security, but we work continuously to protect your information.
7) Data Retention
- Account data: retained during the life of your account.
- After account deletion: deleted or anonymized within 30 days unless retention is required by law or for dispute resolution.
- Usage analytics: retained for up to 12 months.
- Customer support records: retained for up to 6 months.
- AI uploads: deleted immediately after processing completes and results are returned to you.
8) Your Rights and Choices
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to processing, and to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.

9) Children and Age Requirement (17+)
ZepoGlow is intended for users age 17 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under 17. If you believe someone under 17 has provided personal information, contact us and we will take steps to delete it.
10) Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the Effective Date and provide notice within the Service or by other appropriate means.
